New November

Fri Nov 2, 2007, 1:52 PM
And so October ends... (and my journal thing begins)

Yeah, Halloween was a bit weird. Only 3 small groups came to the door by about 9 o'clock but then the door bell rang again once more at about 9:30. This time, about 20 kids, ranging from around 8 to 15 years old, stood glaring at me, waiting ravenously for their candy. I daringly told them to take a few, realizing afterwards that I had committed a cardinal mistake. The first few grubby hands grasped only a few chunks, but then a fierce warrior approached and greedily devoured the stash by snatching gigantic handfuls of candy. A trick then played my eye as she turned from a vicious sugar plunderer into a frantic, fleeing delinquent. Several other people crowded into her space to get some candy for themselves, so I could not pursue her. If only the magic came alive for me that night, I would've slowed her in her tracks and make her throw all of her candy to the other sugar-craving zombies. Ungrateful greedy kids...

That next Thursday (yesterday actually), the English professor required our annotated bibliography and research paper proposal. Of course, I didn't have it ready. I'm actually procrastinating on it right now, writing this journal instead. (Luckily, he accepts late work) This weekend isn't going to bring much joy to me. First, I have to complete said papers. Then, I have a 10 minute persuasive speech to prepare; but what can I persuade people on that's worthwhile and not boring? Plus, there may be other things to do for English - including another Editorial Rhetoric Response journal - but I'll have to check the syllabus for that. Don't forget the weekend chores, mow, edge, wash the dogs; organize a bunch of crap; finish fixing my monitor; etc.

I've been pondering on what to contribute to my dA, so maybe in my free time I'll start drawing. It's going to be a series of things, I'll tell you that much, so keep your eyes out for updates! You may even see more journal entries! :)

So, I know this isn't the "official" place to post my own updates, but I figured it wouldn't hurt this one time. Not enough to say to write a blog entry.

As I mentioned before, I'm working on a deviation, but I've decided that I'll also post my updated work in steps, probably under scraps. Boredom overcame me in math so I started working on it. Very soon I will scan it in to show you. :)

On the other hand, I'm STILL busy with english and hopefully will finally finish up this weekend. I have to make up for my shoddy performance with that earlier. Hopefully my research paper will be very well written, not just for my grade but for my ... self respect? But it's still bothering me. I feel too creative and would rather not work on my paper because it feels the opposite way. Oh well...

mufufufufu, yes maple isnt much fun if you dont have friends. The reason I'm so into it is the player interaction, guild, event stuff. It's meant to be a game you play with other people and the part you played (the beginning) can suck because you dont have anyone to talk to. I get on sometimes just to chat and mess around. It also requires quite a bit of attention if you have friends (especially if you have a guild, and even more so if your the leader). It has mixed effects on your friends if you dont get on for like a month. It really has to be something your in to. I like the game itself as well, but if it was a single player game (like the ds version) I would probably only be level 20 instead of level 68 (woot). 3rd job advance in 2 levels.
:iconancibit:
What? The DS version will be single player? That's a waste of time. Then there's no point in playing it at all. An MMO cannot be ported to a single player game. I was thinking that you play online with it but whatever.

I'm actually really too busy for any games that require a lot of attention. I never have enough time to devote to it, especially for long periods at a time.

I assume ur playing the flying angel game you showed me? O.o It looked cool. Post stuff plox
:iconancibit:
Not out yet. Beta should be soon though. I'd love to play it but my laptop probably couldn't handle it (you've seen it, you know what I mean, lol)

I'd love to play it soon though. :/

(BTW, my icon right now is from a concept art of the game)
:iconseventhhunter:
did I tell you about rp group? I think I said about it in email. Cant play till next semester though <.<
x.x I think my guild is getting too big. I dont know if I'll expand it anymore. There was some recent kicking (much needed). ON a busy day the chat window flies by -_-. I can keep up with it, but since im the leader I get trade/chat requests, guild question spam, buddy talk spam, whisper spam, and the occasional lag. :D This stuff usually happens when I'm trying to train too :D I do have a good system going though and I'm only 4 levels from the 3rd job advancement (level 70). Interaction is half the fun O.o. Our guild's most awesome cleric is now a priest and has soared past me to a towering level 83. I dont think I'll ever catch back up >.< I'm assuming your not going to play at all. *pokes* your IGN is taking up space on my list :3. I'll delete it if your not going to play. of course that means more buddy spam but I have so much of it that it no longer makes a difference. *extends the chat window over the whole screen.
:iconancibit:
You did mention the RP group. Didn't you say it was Modified DnD?

If your chat is flowing that fast, then yes, your Guild is too big. Consider a forum for your guild (try Invision Free :: [link] or Freeforums :: [link] ).

I don't play MS because I don't really find it that much fun, but I don't have it installed either because I currently lack hard drive space. I heard they're making a DS version so maybe I'll get that. But you can delete me from your contact list because it will be a while before I play again. Your name will stay on my list though, right?

And, epic answer to an epic post. :D (Maybe we should email this more often. And you need to fix your signature, take out the <img> part)

Hey, hey! I found you through Jason... It's teh Tiffy.
